Dallas: In 2022, following a Dallas basketball game, a guy entered a guilty plea and was sentenced to prison, according to court documents. The woman, 21, was shot and killed.

The Dallas County court filings stated that Cameron Hogg, who was 31 at the time of the shooting last year, accepted a plea agreement that included 20 years in jail.

After Asia Womack was shot and died, Hogg was taken into custody in October of 2022.

In the South Dallas neighborhood, close to South Fitzhugh Avenue and the Dos Equis Pavilion, Womack was discovered shot to death on a sidewalk on October 3, 2022. Weeks later, Hogg was taken into custody.

Womack was walking home after playing basketball when the shooting occurred, according to Womack’s family members, before Hogg’s arrest. Witnesses said it was about a fight following the game, according to them.

For his actions, he must pay. since that made no sense. Smith remarked, “That was inappropriate.”

Hogg pled guilty in the case and provided specifics about his plea agreement were disclosed in court filings filed in Dallas County on Tuesday.
