Columbus, Ohio — The Ohio State Highway Patrol reports that a 16-year-old was killed after wrecking a truck on U.S. Route 36 in Union County on Saturday night. The single-vehicle collision occurred close to Connor Road shortly before 11 p.m., according to OSHP.

Blake Gorton of Woodstock was driving a Chevrolet Silverado on Route 36 when it allegedly crossed the center line and veered off to the left side of the road. The vehicle was traveling southwest.

After then, the truck struck a railing end and overturned down an embankment. The truck was submerged in Treacle Creek, according to OSHP.
