ROGERS, AR: Over $4 million was gambled on the Super Bowl this year at the three casinos in the state, according to the Arkansas Department of Finance. That is a $1 million rise over the previous year.
Following the big game on Sunday, officials with the Arkansas Problem Gambling Council report receiving increased calls. It is said that conducting a self-evaluation is the best course of action if you believe you have a gambling issue.

Additionally, they provide instructions on how to self-ban from casinos. They provide them with financial advice, such as how to set gambling limits and avoid placing emotional bets.
“And not just say, ‘I feel lucky, it’s Friday, I’m going to risk it all,'” the Arkansas Problem Gambling Council’s Vena Schexnayder added.
More accessibility to sports betting, according to Schexnayder, equals more risk. She said, “There’s a casino in their pocket.” It’s also their mobile phone. Correct? or a computer, laptop, or tablet.”
