BREAKING! Investigation Initiated by Police After Lockdown at West Price Hill School

Cincinnati, Ohio —

After an incident involving an “unknown projectile,” authorities in West Price Hill put the school under temporary lockdown.

At Romero Academy at Resurrection, the lockdown lasted for approximately an hour as authorities conducted their investigation.

Authorities at the school stated that they suspect someone from off-site fired a projectile at the front of the building, striking a window. Uncertainty surrounds the cause of the eighth-grade student’s mild injuries, if any.

At no point throughout the event were there firearms on school property, the school announced on Thursday.
