The afternoon of January 14, authorities stated, a shooting in the 2300 block of West Buckingham Road in Garland claimed the lives of Ruben Santibanez Arzola, 17, and Alan Jesus Chavez, 18.

Anton Noriz was the subject of a “directive to apprehend” order filed by police this week because they “believed to be involved in the shooting,” according to an updated news release.

There is still no information available on Anton Noriz’s purported role in the shooting killings.

After arriving at the location at 3:15 p.m. on January 14, police discovered two victims—later identified as Arzola and Chavez—had been shot. After being brought to a hospital, Arzola and Chavez passed away.

Officers found out that the gunman drove off in an unknown car, but no further information was disclosed.
