HOUSTON – Travis James Mullis was found guilty in 2008 of killing his young son, and now he is scheduled to be executed.
Judge Jeth Jones of Galveston County District Court declared on Wednesday that the 37-year-old, who had been on death row for 13 years, will be executed on September 24, 2024.
In January 2008, Millis admitted to killing his three-month-old baby. He admitted to “stomping on his skull until it collapsed,” according to officials, and he placed his kid, Alijah Mullis, on the side of the road at the far east end of Seawall Boulevard.
