Police Chase Unfolds 18-Year-Old Woman Crashes Stolen Vehicle in Miami Escape

Miami: Five people were injured when an 18-year-old driver without a license struck two automobiles in Miami after she resisted a traffic stop and fled from police, according to the police.

Since January 15, Genesis Bardales has been housed at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Facility. She appeared in Miami-Dade County bond court on Thursday and has two open charges.

Police in North Miami Beach look for the burglar they believe pepper-sprayed the clerk. Police in Sweetwater said that Walgreens Bardales was driving a white 2019 Hyundai that was reported stolen. She ran a red light while traveling quickly north, according to the police.

An arrest report in the case states that the three-vehicle collision occurred on January 14 at approximately 4:10 p.m. at the intersection of Northwest Second Avenue and 54 Street.

The Hyundai collided with the driver’s side of a Jeep after first hitting the passenger side of a Honda. There were two injured passengers in the Hyundai.

A man and a woman were transported by fire rescue personnel to the Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital. The woman was admitted to the intensive care unit after suffering a head injury. The man hurt his leg and lost consciousness. The remaining three victims were attended to at the crash location by fire rescue.

Bardales is charged with one count of grand theft of a car and two charges of reckless driving resulting in bodily injury. She is also under a hold from US Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
